Minnesota center fielder Raúl Noriega had a good game, even if his team did not. The Berserkers dropped a 8-6 decision to Columbus at The Frozen Tundra. Noriega hit 2 home runs. The winner was Greg Finley, who threw 116 pitches over 8 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 11 hits. Marcos León earned his 6th save in 11 chances.

Tokutomi Kogawa, who is tied for 4th in the RCL in total bases with 292, aided the Columbus cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
