Victory Over Mustangs Takes Maple to 93-59
|
Maple starter Robinson Pedercini had a strong outing against the Mile High Mustangs at McNichols Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Adrien Clément picked up the save for Maple, his 36th of the year. Maple goes to 93-59. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
In the top of the seventh inning, second baseman Gerard Leeder came through big-time for the Marauders. With Maple leading 3-1, he belted a 2-run home run.
Pedercini said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a pretty good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
