Don Corleone Park was rocking after an exciting win today.

In a tight contest at Don Corleone Park, the New York Mafia edged the San Diego Hops by the score of 5-4. New York center fielder Octávio García, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. New York reliever Kunihiko Mizuno was the winner. His record is now 2-6. José Castillo took the loss.

James Rice changed the game with one swing of the bat. With no one out in the bottom of the ninth, the New York designated hitter hammered a solo home run off José Castillo. It was his 9th home run of the season. With it, New York took the lead, 5-4.

"This place was rockin'," Rice said.

The 5th-place Mafia have won 4 straight games.
