The Dallas Texans and Manhattan Beach Patriots put on a pitchers' duel at Stars & Stripes Stadium.

The Dallas Texans went home winners at Stars & Stripes Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Pedro López. López silenced the Manhattan Beach Patriots, enabling Dallas to grab the 2-1 win. López picked up the win for Dallas, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 11-14. Harsha Majoo earned the save, his 12th, for the Texans.

Graham Verney helped out the Dallas cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 3-4 with 3 singles.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," López said.
