Tight Tilt Goes to Danger, 4-3
|
Duke City Danger starter Walt Lawson was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Columbus Codebreakers, 4-3. Duke City is now 83-66, while Columbus is 80-68.
Also pitching in was Duke City second baseman Hafiz Wattu, who hammered a solo home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, Wattu was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Lawson told reporters after the game.
