Cabo San Lucas Toreros starter Bruce Lowe turned in a top-notch performance against the Portland Beavers at Waterfront Park. The result was a win for the Toreros, 4-2. The Beavers, at 71-77, have lost 4 in a row.
Carlos Moreno took Fernando López deep in the top of the first. His 2-run home run put the Toreros in front, 2-0. For the game, Moreno went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
