Prowlers Hang 3-1 Loss on Tornadoes
|
Lewis Portsmouth pitched a gem to lead Oklahoma City to a 3-1 victory over the Kansas City Tornadoes. Portsmouth picked up the win for Oklahoma City, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-8. Oklahoma City is 65-82 and Kansas City, with the loss, 74-73.
A key at-bat came in the top of the seventh inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Tokaji Sato, hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-1, Oklahoma City, and helped them go on to win.
