Dallas rode a good effort from starter Pedro López to beat the Bloomington Blazers at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. The final score was 5-2. Earning his 11th save of the year was Harsha Majoo. Dallas bumps their record to 63-83 with the win.

Kamatari Inoue went 1 for 5 with a triple for Dallas. With no one out and the game tied in the top of the second, Inoue had a clutch at-bat. Facing Bloomington hurler Tommy Bartlett, he hit a run-scoring triple to give the Texans a 1-0 lead.

"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," López said. "That's how it goes."
