Prowlers Stumble, Lose to Tornadoes
|
It was a good time at Debris Field, where fans came to watch the Oklahoma City Prowlers and Kansas City Tornadoes get after it.
Kansas City Tornadoes starter Loeck Jurgens turned in an exceptional performance against the Oklahoma City Prowlers at Debris Field, resulting in a Kansas City win, 8-2. Jurgens, the winner, moves to 6-5. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks.
Andrew Weber's at-bat in the bottom of the third inning was a big one for Kansas City. Coming to bat with one out, the bases loaded and Kansas City leading 2-1, the designated hitter hit a sacrifice fly.
"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Weber. "Just do my job."
The third-place Tornadoes have won 4 in a row.
