Havana and Georgia took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
The Havana Stogies picked up a win at The Death Star, knocking off the Georgia Grays, 6-1. Starting pitcher Joe Hardy was an essential part of his team's success. Havana goes to 82-63. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
In the top of the first, Lu-po-teh Cheung took a fastball from Gabriel Núñez and pounded a 3-run home run to left. It put Havana on top, 3-0. For the game, Cheung was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.
Cheung said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a pretty good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
