Republic Walk Off with Win
A 3-RBI performance from Lou Ramsey, who is tied for 7th in the RCL with a .384 on-base percentage, helped the So Cal Republic beat the Chicago Hitmen, 6-5. Soleh Purbacaraka, credited with the win, is now 8-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 0.1 innings. The Republic, at 103-42, have a comfortable 20-game lead in their division.

Coming to the plate with no one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, So Cal catcher Júlio Segura had a chance to be the hero. Facing Chicago pitcher Gus Layar with a runner on 1st, Segura, who is a two-time All-Star, hit a walk-off run-scoring triple.

Ramsey described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
