Losing Streak Continues for Titans with 5-3 Loss
|
Portland Beavers starter Iván Morales was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Omaha Titans, 5-3. Morales got the win, improving to 11-10. He allowed 8 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Morales allowed 2 earned runs. The misery continues for the Titans, which has now dropped 11 in a row.
Ellis Stockdale took Frank Perkins deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run home run put the Beavers in front, 5-2. For the game, Stockdale went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
