Jesters Stumble, Lose to Hops
|
San Diego Hops starter Jim Phillips had all his pitches working at The Brew Stade. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 San Diego win over the Jersey Jesters. With the win, San Diego goes to 51-92, while the Jesters fall to 69-73.
Also pitching in was San Diego shortstop San-pao Chio, who hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, Chio went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Chio.
