Adhipa Vemireddy was superb against Seattle. The left-hander, who is tied for 7th in the RCL with a 8 quality starts, had a change up that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 1-0 Republic victory. Christian Wallace sewed up the save, his 15th. So Cal goes to 45-20. The win puts them 9 games up in their division.

The Sasquatch had little chance against Vemireddy, who overpowered Seattle hitters and struck out 13.

"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Vemireddy. "Just do my job."
