The New York Mafia topped the Omaha Titans, 8-3, in Roberto Clemente League action at Titans Park. The player of the game was New York pitcher and Knoxville, Tennessee native Bob Ruíz. New York now sits in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division at 31-36.

New York took the lead with two out in the top of the third when Doug White stroked a run-scoring double. That made the score 1-0 in favor of New York. For the day, White was 1-5 with a double.
