Capitals Win in Glorious Fashion
|
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Augustin Connors, the Victoria Capitals defeated the Saskatoon Legends, 8-4. Connors slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Capitals. Victoria is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Connors. Facing Dave Hann with the bases loaded, the Victoria designated hitter had a grand slam home run. Game over, walk-off style!
