Big Day by Connors Ignites Capitals Win
Victoria and Kelowna met at Brantford College Grounds in front of a lively crowd.

The Victoria Capitals downed the Kelowna Heat, 10-6, at Brantford College Grounds. Augustin Connors led the way, going 3-for-4 for Victoria. Victoria is now 21-28, while Kelowna is 21-28.

Layne Wilcox's at-bat in the top of the third was significant for the Capitals. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Victoria leading 2-1, the left fielder hit a sacrifice fly.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Connors.
