Earl Lee was superb against Montreal. The left-hander, who is tied for 5th in the LBL with a 12.4 K/9 rate, had a splitter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 9-5 Legends victory. The Legends bumped their record to 18-16 with this latest triumph.
With one out in the bottom of the second, Chua chay Ang drilled a grand slam home run to left. It put Saskatoon ahead, 4-0. For the game, Ang was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Lee told the Saskatoon Chronicle.
