The Calgary Outlaws put together a convincing win at Corvettes Ballpark, defeating the Niagara Stars, 13-3. Steve Peyre was one of the hitting stars. He went 4-6 with 4 singles, while scoring 3 runs for Calgary. Calgary has now won 3 straight, while the Stars have lost 4 in a row.

The Calgary triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was George Joy. In the bottom of the fifth, the Calgary designated hitter hit a run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 4-3 lead.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Joy told the Calgary News.
