The Kelowna Heat went home winners at Eliminators Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Liu-liang Ying. Ying silenced the Montreal Royales, enabling Kelowna to grab the 6-1 win. With the win, Kelowna has a record of 9-7. Montreal falls to 8-7.

Jim Unknown did his part for the Heat, producing a 2-run double in the top of the second inning. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
