Big Game from Herbert Not Enough, Heat Lose
The inspired effort of Kelowna catcher John Herbert was not enough to prevent a 11-10 loss to the Trois-Rivieres Saints. Herbert went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Trois-Rivieres reliever Dan McIntyre picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jim Unknown absorbed the loss. Getting the save was Jim Unknown, his 1st.
