The Saskatoon Legends got a stellar performance from pitcher Nolan Granter, who handcuffed the Victoria offense en route to a 3-1 win at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. Kevin Labbee finished the game for Saskatoon and earned his 4th save. Saskatoon, now 6-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.
Doing his part for Saskatoon was catcher Bob Hansen, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth. For the game, Hansen went 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Hansen.
