The Omaha Titans got a magnificent effort from pitcher Daniel Díaz, who kept Chicago hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Titans win at SouthSide Park. Bill Daniels nailed down his 3rd save. The loss drops Chicago to 4-3.
Díaz, the Omaha right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no earned runs on 4 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.
"Daniel was Daniel," said Omaha Titans manager Bernard Jacq. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
