Houston catcher Harry King had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the USC Trojans, 5-3. Reynaldo Santos picked up the save, his 4th. The Cougars' win now puts them at 17-29.
Flexing his muscles for Houston was the aforementioned King. The catcher had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Cougars. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory.
"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Houston manager José Alonzo said afterward.
