Cal State Fullerton right-hander Mike Zimmerman shut out the TCU Horned Frogs, 6-0. Cal State Fullerton, at 23-19, sits in 7th place in the Cliff Gustafson.
Runs were few and far between in this one. So, Ben Davis's at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth was crucial. The Cal State Fullerton catcher hit a 3-run home run, to give his team a 3-0 lead.
