Cougars Lose Again, 5-1
|
Tristan Nystrřm never let the Cougars get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his change up, to pitch the Ducks to a 5-1 win. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Houston.
The Ducks got a lift from designated hitter Mauro Martínez who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning off Nick Rucker. It was his 29th RBI of the season and put Oregon in front, 1-0.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Houston skipper José Alonzo.
