McKinney Delivers Walk-Off Win for Titans
In a close game at Hartford College Grounds, the Cal State Fullerton Titans edged the Stanford Cardinals, 4-3. Cal State Fullerton right fielder Rick McKinney earned the nod as player of the game. He belted 2 home runs. Cal State Fullerton reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Mark Baker shouldered the loss. The 7th-place Titans raised their record to 21-18.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, McKinney hit a fastball from Mark Baker for a solo home run. The Titans, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said McKinney. "It was a great win."
