A nice crowd turned out to see the Ole Miss Rebels and Baylor Bears clash at Wolverines Stadium.
The Ole Miss Rebels downed the Baylor Bears, 7-2, at Wolverines Stadium. Denis Pearson led the way, going 3-for-5 for Ole Miss. Ole Miss now sits in 4th place in the Cliff Gustafson at 22-13.
Eduardo Gallegos gave Ole Miss a good at-bat in the top of the second inning. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to help send Ole Miss to the win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Gallegos told the Ole Miss Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
