8 Straight Wins for Ragin Cajuns
|
Desi Robinson never let the Golden Eagles get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Ragin Cajuns to a 4-1 win. Robinson, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up no walks. Louisiana-Layfayette has run its win streak to 8 in a row.
Michael Parker took Curt Hart deep in the top of the second. His 2-run home run put the Ragin Cajuns in front, 2-0. For the game, Parker was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
