Titans Fall to .500 After Loss to Ducks
|
The Oregon Ducks had to overcome a big game from Cal State Fullerton second baseman Steve Roy to leave Crunch Ballpark with a 5-4 victory. Roy went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Oregon reliever Steve Mitchell picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Lloyd Huggins absorbed the loss. Oregon now owns a record of 11-21.
John O'Brien aided the Oregon cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
