Fish Lifts Bears to 6-1 Win
|
Baylor first baseman Jude Fish had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 6-1 win over the Texas Longhorns. The win was Hanihani Toora's in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Dexter Morris took the loss for Texas. The 6th-place Bears lifted their record to 19-13.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Texas hurler Sixto Árias, Ambo Kimweri, who is tied for 10th in the RDL in stolen bases with 9, got hit by a pitch. The Bears went on to win.
"We take it day by day here," said Fish, "and today was a good one for us."
