The LSU Tigers eked out a 6-5 win versus the Texas A&M Aggies at South Paris College Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Carlos Hernández, who captured player of the game honors. LSU reliever Anthony Smith was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Daniel White took the loss. The 'W' lifts LSU's record to 16-12.

Coming to the plate with two out in the bottom of the tenth inning, LSU catcher Truman Allen had a chance to be the hero. Facing Texas A&M pitcher Daniel White with runners on 1st and 2nd, Allen hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

"This joint was rocking," said Allen.
