Black Knights Come Back Late to Clip Codebreakers
The Brooklyn Black Knights scored a 6-5 win versus the Columbus Codebreakers at Central Park Downtown Stadium. Brooklyn catcher Bubhutsu Tikoo nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The win was Mike Gilbert's in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Manny Palma took the loss for Columbus. Tokaji Goto finished the game for Brooklyn and earned his 12th save.

Kojuro Ine's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a sinker from Manny Palma for a run-scoring double. It put Brooklyn in front, 6-5.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Ine said.

The second-place Codebreakers have dropped 5 straight games.
