The UCLA Bruins had no problem beating the LSU Tigers, 11-3, at Ballpark of Shiprock College. Aaron Burt led the way. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for UCLA. UCLA reliever Don Weston picked up the win to move to 3-1. Carlos Hernández suffered the loss. After today's action, UCLA sits at 20-6, while LSU falls to 14-10.

Burt in the bottom of the second had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Bruins leading 4-1, he hit a grand slam.
