The USC Trojans used an offensive barrage to beat the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns, 10-2, at Field of the Dukes. Joe Ratzlaff led the way, going 2-for-4 for USC. With the win, USC has a record of 17-9. Louisiana-Layfayette falls to 15-11.

Ratzlaff contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped USC get the win.
