Bombers Squelch Jersey Offense in Shutout Win
South Carolina and Jersey took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Ange Schmit never let the Jesters get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Bombers to a 6-0 win. With the win, the Bombers improved to 33-28.

Kiyonobu Yamasaki helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run home run to give South Carolina a 2-0 lead.

Yamasaki attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
