Horned Frogs Get One-Run Win at Baylor
|
Baylor center fielder Randolph Nelson had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to TCU at Wolverines Stadium. Nelson went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Jason Kurz earned the save for TCU, his 5th. The Horned Frogs raised their record to 10-14.
Chris Park had a nice at-bat for the Horned Frogs with two out in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, the center fielder hit a 2-run single, which would prove important in the TCU win.
"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Park told the TCU Citizen.
