Aggies Fall to Bruins, 7-1
|
Texas A&M had no answer for UCLA Bruins hurler Andy Dasher, who overwhelmed Aggies hitters as the Bruins coasted to a 7-1 victory. Dasher, the winner, moves to 3-0. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 11 and giving up 3 walks. The Bruins, at 17-5, have now won 4 straight.
Chipping in for UCLA was left fielder Flynn Kelley. He stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Kelley was 2-4 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
