Aggies Walk Off with 3-2 Win
|
The Sooners Ballpark faithful were treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.
South Mississippi pitcher Christian O'Brien gave the Aggies all they could handle, but in the end, Texas A&M left Sooners Ballpark with a 3-2 win. O'Brien allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits over 6 innings. The winner was Daniel White in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Zack Wilson took the loss.
David Kelley was the walk-off hero for Texas A&M. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Texas A&M catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Kelley said.
Texas A&M now sits at 7-12, while South Mississippi falls to 12-7.
