Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Blazers
Maple got a terrific game from second baseman Gerard Leeder. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Bloomington, 7-6. Leeder was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Bloomington is in last place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division with a record of 23-37.

Shusui Kikuchi was the walk-off hero for Bloomington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Bloomington designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"It was a solid team effort," said Kikuchi after the game.
