Bears Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
|
The Baylor Bears picked up a win at Wolverines Stadium, knocking off the Cal State Fullerton Titans, 5-4. Starting pitcher Alan Evans, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Baylor reliever Keith Anderson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Marty Gray took the loss. Losses have been few and far between for the Titans, who are now 5-1.
The game came to an abrupt end with no one out in the bottom of the 11th. On a pitch from Marty Gray, Michael Robinson reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. It gave Baylor the 5-4 walk-off win.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Robinson said.
