Cardinals Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Surfers Ballpark was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

In a well-pitched game between the Stanford Cardinals and the TCU Horned Frogs, pitcher James Crowe was superb. The Stanford left-hander was named the player of the game in Stanford's 2-0 win. Albert Cunningham was credited with the save for Stanford, his 2nd of the season.

Stanford took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Donald Miller stroked a run-scoring double to make it 1-0, Cardinals.

"We did just enough to win," Miller said.

The Cardinals keep rolling, raising their record to 4-2.
