Bruins Hang 3-2 Loss on Sun Devils
|
George Beasley knocked in all 3 runs for the UCLA Bruins, helping them beat the Arizona State Sun Devils, 3-2. The first-place Bruins have won 4 in a row.
Beasley contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for UCLA in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, Beasley took a fastball from Joe Hutchins and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Bruins to leap in front, 3-2.
Beasley said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a pretty good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
