Bulldogs Come Back Late to Top Tigers
The Bulldogs took LSU pitcher Leland Bullins's best shot and still were able to claim a win at South Paris College Grounds. The final score was 4-1, Fresno State. Bullins went 5.2 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 8. Even with the win, the Bulldogs have a dismal 9-18 record.

Fresno State took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, left fielder Jim Unknown hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Unknown.
