It was a fun time at Wolverines Stadium, where the Houston Cougars and Baylor Bears tangled.
Baylor rode a decent outing from starter Joey Hubbard to victory over the Houston Cougars at Wolverines Stadium. The final score was 6-3. Hubbard got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. Hubbard allowed 3 earned runs.
Early in the game, right fielder Ambo Kimweri had a 2-run single for Baylor. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the Bears on top, 2-1.
"We've got a great group of guys," Kimweri said, "and we're having fun right now."
