UCLA beat Oregon State on the strength of starter Dennis McKenzie's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 10-0 win. In 5 innings, McKenzie surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Don Weston got credit for the save for UCLA. It was his 1st of the year.
