Cabo San Lucas got a terrific performance from pitcher Bruce Lowe, but it wasn't enough to beat the Eureka Hornets. Eureka won the Field de Los Layendas contest, 4-3. Lowe was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. Andrés Nevárez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 22nd save. The Eureka winning streak has now reached 4 games.

Ron Jeremy made it 4-3 in favor of Eureka when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the 11th. The Hornets went on to win.
