Commodores Lose Again, 8-2
|
The Michigan Wolverines and starting pitcher Vincent Roger stifled the Vanderbilt offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Ballpark of Barrow College. The slumping Commodores have lost 7 straight.
An impactful at-bat came in the top of the second inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Milton Jones, hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 1-0, Michigan, and helped them go on to win.
"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Cisco Sánchez. "But it's got to translate into wins."
