The Oklahoma State Cowboys had no problem beating the Vanderbilt Commodores, 12-3, at Ballpark of Barrow College. Martin Sullivan led the way. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for Oklahoma State. Oklahoma State has a 3-game win streak, while Vanderbilt has lost 3 in a row.
Mike Lee put Oklahoma State in front, 4-0, when he took Bob Alford downtown. His 3-run home run came with one out in the top of the second. It was his 17th home run of the season.
