Cavaliers Fall to Hawkins, Wolverines
The Michigan Wolverines easily defeated the Virginia Cavaliers, 16-4, at Siege Ballpark, with shortstop Ray Hawkins a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Michigan. Getting the save was Tony Thomas, his 3rd. The winning continues for Michigan, with the latest making it 8 straight.
